Shenzhen SDGI Optical Network Technologies Co., Ltd. is the holding subsidiary of Shenzhen SDG Information Co., Ltd. As the former Indoor cable R&D Department of Fiber Optic Cable Division in SDGI, SDGI-ONT set foot in the research of indoor fiber optic cable from 1998, and obtained certification of its achievements in scientific research from Shenzhen Science and Technology Bureau in 2003. SDGI-ONT is founded as independent corporation with a initial registered capital of 14 million yuan, of which the proportion of providing funds from SDGI is 61% and that from cadre employees is 39%. On Sep. 12th, 2011, the same proportion of capital increase from SDGI and the employees made the registered capital to 50 million yuan.

SDGI-ONT focuses on the R&D, manufacture and services of optical communication products (fibre optic cables and other products) in communication industry which is in the field of high-and-new-technology that the government encourages to develop. Besides the headquaters in Nanshan district, Shenzhen, there're two plants with 48 production lines in Guanlan town, Bao'an distict, Shenzhen City and in Liaobu town, Dongguan city. The production capacity is 2,000,000KM per year.
